The Studio
Established January 17, 2001, Hayiya Dance Theatre's mission is to educate, entertain and engage the community by providing opportunities for cultural arts enrichment and exposure. Under the leadership of Artistic Director and founder, Pilar Wilder Lowden, Hayiya specializes in authentic and progressive West African dance and percussion as well as dances of the Diaspora.
Hayiya offers dance education in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, West African, Percussion, PilaRhythm (Contemporary), Liturgical, Skate, Yoga, F8t Fit and Tumbling. Our instructors are highly qualified, talented and loved working with students. Come on home to Hayiya!
